Oi! Me chamo Emanuel, sou biólogo, mestre em Ciências Ambientais e doutorando em Ecologia e Evolução. Minha linha de pesquisa é a Limnologia. Já trabalhei com educação ambiental e fiz muito campo em riachos, estudando invertebrados bentônicos e decomposição. Hoje sou um biólogo de computador. No doutorado, estou usando séries temporais para estudar a sincronia espacial de peixes da Amazônia e do mosquito da dengue. Aqui, a ideia é escrever um pouco sobre biologia e postar fotos dos peixes que eu pego.Hi! I’m Emanuel, a biologist with a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and a PhD student in Ecology and Evolution. My research field is limnology. I have worked in environmental education and spent a lot of time doing fieldwork in streams, studying benthic invertebrates and decomposition. Today I am a computer biologist. In my PhD, I am using time series to study the spatial synchrony of Amazonian fishes and of the dengue mosquito. Here, the idea is to write a bit about biology and to post photos of the fish I catch.
